Students living off-campus, college houses, or Campus Village sometimes have trouble finding time to fill their stomachs in between classes because of their living distance from campus. During the week, students will go to campus to take classes, allowing them only an hour to go for lunch. Understanding the value of nutrition for students, we would like to re-introduce the two amazing options for our community meal plans: EC Maroon Plan (20 meals/ semester) and EC White Plan (40 meals/ semester). With these two options, you can pass by Cafe 1847 and the Dining Hall, swipe your Earlham ID card to dine just in time for classes!
Another amazing thing about this is that you can find online what menus are being offered for the week in the Dining Hall. Options at Cafe 1847 are the same as meal exchange, featuring our students' favorites such as cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, burritos, and fries!
The starting price for EC Maroon Plan is $225 and EC White Plan is $390, both of which includes meals and Quaker Points. These 2 types of meal plans give students flexibility on when and where they want to use it. With Quakers Points, which is digitalized money on your student ID, you can even pass by Intermetzo for a hot cup of coffee in the morning or a refreshing smoothie in the afternoon.
Because we know that Earlham students always have "too much on their plate" in terms of academics and extracurricular activities, we want to fill up their actual plates as well. We believe nutritious meals support great students.
